My Lovely Soul

My soul is beautiful,
My soul is kind,
My soul is lovely,
My soul makes rhymes.

When I look into myself I see my soul,
It continues my hearts thunder
I pray that it starts the same as I age
I pray that it changes and teaches others.

My soul keeps me obedient
My soul holds my tongue
It keeps me out of trouble
It keeps my smile immediate.

People wonder what is it I am rejoiced
The question lingers
I simply reply my soul
The thing that never grows old.

Great work that you have penned. It is a pity that we all don't have that kind of soul. Thanks for sharing it with us. Sara K
