My Love Story

Anytime I try to solve this love in my head
My heart beats faster like its running out of my chest
I try to play my best songs to calm my nerves
The songs take me deeper, from east to west

Anytime I close my eyes to see your face
Feel the sweet comfort of your embrace
…I am yet to see, my eyes weep
…I wish I could sleep

I am sick when I fall in love
My blood streams run faster than the ocean
An ocean of passion and dark skies above
Not sure of what it has in accumulation
I am sick and dying, dying slowly
Dying in love has been my story

I can feel your feelings because I had a similar experience nearly thirty years ago. However, I didn't have poetry to express my agonies then. You are a fortunate lover!
