My Love Remains The Same
After hearing your life story the dreams somehow went wrong.
From the echos of your soul to mine I sat down and wrote this song.
As long as there are clouds above like the eagles in the skies.
I'll wrap you in my wings of love and dry tears from your eyes.
Times when sadness is what you feel you're unsure what to do.
When your pain is just too real I'll come and fight for you.
I'll take the blows that life has dealt I'll claim them as my own.
So through the hopelessness you felt you know you're not alone.
I'll stand against the test of time and stand against the tide.
Climb the mountains you must climb and touch you deep inside.
When your soul cries out for rest I'll stand at your hearts door.
I'll give to you my very best they can't hurt you anymore.
I will take your sorrow your anguish and your shame.
Yesterday, today, tomorrow my love remains the same.
