My Love Never Rests

My love never rests
Kisses flow on
multicolored autumn nights.
I am alone.

My love rests
In the bosom of a woman
three thousand miles away.

Thoughts of her small hands and feet,
soft curves, RED hair
cause my body to quiver,

when her sweet voice says
in almost a whisper:
I love you

laying in
a cold bed
alone

I think of her lips
dream of our first kiss

I am in a long distance relationship, and I know precisely what you mean. It's a lonely existence sometimes, isn't it? Well written poem.
