My Love Letter To Freedom

For so many years
I've been in a relationship with fear
I've suffered enough
To come to the conclusion that
I want freedom
And so I decided to write a love letter

Dear Freedom,

With you, my life would be better
I don't want to play house anymore
Those dreams turned to reality
And were quickly washed ashore
String lines too far away for me to grab on to
I know I had my chance to be with you
But...
This time I want you for sure.
