My Love For You
I don't believe you understand
How much I truly care.
Though I try to show you
Everything in my heart I share.
I do my best to tell you
How I love you intensely,
But there are times you act like
My affection is some mystery.
I mean each and every word
About my love for you I convey.
None of the words that I use
Express any kind of cliché.
Those words are from my heart
And say how I really feel.
How is it that you question
If my love for you is real?
If the words that I say to you
Sound too good to be true,
That's because it really is
Being in love with you.
