My Love For My Dad
Dad, do you know you mean the world to me, when am lock in and can't get out you come and set me free.
Dad, the love you have given and is still giving your loving daughter, brings her everything and much more happy laughter.
Dad, you show you really do care when the love you give is unconditional love, a love that makes me feel you are a dad who fell from above.
Dad, the reason I can't help but cry and worry about you even though I was told not to, is because I love you to death and I want to be by your side all the way right through.
Dad, I know when you tell me things it is for my own good, even though I acted like I never did understood.
Dad, I can't help but wait for the day to come where we will be nothing more than arms length apart, so that my skipped/missed/dipped beats will stop coming from my heart.
