My Love

My Love

My heart is dying, my love.
For every moment you're gone.

One beat one,
          one beat two.

Your spirit lingers within me, my love.
I the stronger too hold you up.

One beat one,
          one beat two.

I awake and you're not here, my love.
I want you home beside me.

One beat one,
          one beat two.

You're dying, my love.
I won't be far behind.

One beat,
         gone.
