My Love

Silently I make a wish
Wondering who’s listening above
If there is a God in heaven
Won’t you send me the gift of love

He doesn’t have to be rich and famous
Or even a playgirl centerfold
Just a kind and loving man
Who bears a heart of gold

An honest man that never lies
And vows to love only one
A man that keeps me at his side
And tells me, i’m second to none

You know the man I speak of
He’s in my dreams every night
He rides a mighty stallion
And wears the armor of a knight

His name is not unknown to me
It’s written in my tears
But everytime I reach for him
The vision disappears

Maybe he just needs to know
Exactly how I feel
Maybe that is all it takes
To make this vision real

Dear father of all mankind
This favor I ask of you
Please tell him that I love him
I know he’ll listen to you
