My Love

I knew it wasn't a lie,
when you promised me a love that will not die
I knew it wasn't just a pretence,
when you promised me your defence.
You are the golden light,
in the thick abode of dense darkness.
You are the morning dew,
that water my tender grass.
You the potent power,
that inject my being with renewed hope.
You are my love,
this I can prove,
by being true,
everytime to you
