My Love

The cool summer breeze
As the earth shook the trees
Made me...

I’ve fallen for love
In ways you wouldn’t believe
I’m her Adam, and she’s my Eve
Dream with me—I’ll make you believe
Through my eyes you’ll see
A love worth lovin’
A life worth livin’
True love is a gift worth givin’
Her love, I’ll say, is so uplifting
Lost in each other while our minds stay drifting
Our dreams are so pure
We’re living in a decade where love shouldn’t be feared
If pain was a disease, then her love’s the cure
So sincere, the way I speak
My words written so sweet
We make love in the moonlight
While the stars sing to us as we sleep
Hibernating through the night
Tomorrow doesn’t exist—
We’ll live for the moment
And love at such risk
But true love will awaken
And today we’ll reminisce
