My Lovable Donkey
I’ll tell you about my donkey
I got him a while ago
Although he looked so cute in the paper
His smile was all for show
For as soon as I got him home
It became apparent to me
He wasn’t what I bargained for
I think you would agree
He runs at me at high speed
And kicks both back feet
I’m sure he has a better use
He would make a comfy leather seat
He teams up with the horse
And try to take them on
Two against one and 100 kg more
Really does seem wrong
He looks at me with mad eyes
He follows my every move
I don’t know what his problem is
But he clearly has something to prove
Its morning well, its three am
And the donkey decides to yell
I haven’t had a good night sleep
Since we got that Donkey from hell
He eats all of our garden
And just try to lock him in
He undoes every latch in sight
And does it with a grin
I don’t know why people love donkeys
In my opinion I would pass
But as sayings go I now can see
Why they nicknamed them an @$$
