My Lost Love

i know its been a long time
since i have seen your face
we used to be good friends
but i left you in disgrace

now i wish things were different
i think of you all the time
but your engaged to another
your no longer mine

i think of the time we spent together
you were my bright and shining star
with you i could have stood the stormy weather
no matter where you are

but my old love came back in sight
and him i never forgot
but i cant ever tell you enough 
how sorry i am
because now i know that now your not
