My Lord

Am I worthy of your presence?
Am I worthy of your touch?
Will I recognize your knowing voice
Before I see your face?
No day was perfect, but I tried
To be what you planned me to be
A kind sister, good friend
I would kneel by your side
Kiss your pierced hands
While tears streak down my face
A heart that’s fit to burst
My savior, my redeemer, my brother
Died for me and you
Each drop of blood
That we might live again with him
High up in the clouds
Past the Golden Gates
Together Forever.

Thanks so much for a blessed tribute to our Lord and Savior. A man in his own right, the Son of God for our assurance. Awesome poem. Sincerely, Moses
