Notes About The Poem

Having a husband - what will THAT be like? 

My Lord

I'm imagining 
MY lord - NO, no, - not GOD! *snort*
my future husband!

So, how will it be?
How will he persuade me - or
- will I entice him??

Relationships can
erase people - they seem to 
disappear, sorta.

I'm not going to
do that - if alpha there be
it'll damn well be me.

But if he plays me
- just right - I'd surely acquiesce
to the score, like music.

John Gondolf September 17, 2020 at 8:20 AM Anais, the Alpha Dog...interesting musings my friend. I find that the best relationships are when there is no alpha. Sometimes he takes the lead and sometimes you take the lead; sometimes he is top dog and sometimes you're the top dog. Thoughts of an old man, don't know if there wise or not...
