My Loneliness Is
How it lasted.
Oh, so long it seemed-
Not now so.
I felt so grand,
So secure, and proud.
All's gone now.
What made us so,
uncomfortable,
together?
The tragedy;
misunderstanding:
Stupid me.
Then I left you,
But I tricked myself:
You left me.
Now I get it.
Unhappiness reigns-
Safety gone.
Will we exist,
Together again-
Ever more?
My misfortune:
You've run off, to be,
so happy.
Never again,
Will we be happy:
Us as one.
The grief in me;
My loneliness is,
And will be.
