My Littlest Angel
Sophia my littlest angel
I have something to share with you
You are so young but you need to know
How much I care
I know you are aware
How much mommies spare time
Has been all mine
So I will let you in on a little secret
We both win when God sends his love our way
Now we can play every day
I am here to stay
Makes me want to grin
As I take it all in
I ask God to send me an angel
One I could love and care for
When I open this door
I got one more then I ask him for
God thought enough of me
He brought two angels for me to see
So I could be your dad here on earth
So you would not be sad
That your real dad had to go to heaven
I am your mom's lucky number seven
Being stuck without a man
Was not part of her plan
She scanned for many years
Gave up her career
Even cried a few tears
She knew that she had to find a man she could trust
One that based on love, not lust
Most of all she wanted you
To grow up knowing a man like me
Who is positive and free
I will love you like you are my very own
This will keep you from the unknown
Or ever having to feel alone
God has blessed us
Now the rest is up to us
I'm here because I want to be
So we might see
Just how wonderful this life might be
Now that our family is complete
Just the way God intended it to be
