My Little Girl

You came to us within a blink of an eye,
Surprising all ,doctor, family, daddy and I.
Although your birth didn't give me much pain,
They said you had a lot more to gain.

They held you back while I was sent home,
Just because you were different from the norm.
To them you may have looked like a fly,
But to me my girl your were greater than the sky.

To our life you added all happiness and joy,
In thanking I want to hug you like a soft toy.
Fear nothing mum's always with you my little girl,
For always in my heart you'll be my little world.
