My Little Girl

You are my beautiful princess
You are my life and soul
The first moment i held you
my life became whole
Your little cries and your big smiles
All the sleepless nights was all worth while
Mummy loves you so very much
This bond we have no one can touch
You have grown quickly
Now your nearly 4
I'll always remember that first time you swore
You looked at me knowing it was wrong
But how could mummy be upset so we together
sang a little song
You're such joy in mummy's life
And my beautiful baby i will always love and care
Whenever your afraid and need mummy
Just call and i promise Lara mummy will always be there.

I myself, enjoy reading and commenting those who want to be read. The only time I give constructive criticism is when a poet desires it. However, if for some reason the poem is not my field I will guide you to someone who is more qualified than I. Stop by and read one of my poems if you like. My poems are not perfect, but I have a feeling you might like one. I encourage you to check out the contest page and read to receive comments. Tell me a little about your poetic skills if you like. Hello Samantha, This is a heartfelt write. Having children is undoubtedly the most special achievement we can attain. I like how you have summarized Lara's first 4 years into a neat rhyming poem. Well done and take care. Michael
