My Little Cat

In a place stained with moisture and mosquito grime,
A tiny kitten survives.

The mother looks on,
At this sorrow, at this place.

Though you are asleep,
I lick you.

Ah, you have finally drifted too deep into slumber.

The flower and the bee seem to become one,
Yet in the end, they betray each other.

The kitten thought it was sweet honey,
Only to realize it was the poisonous sting left behind by the bee.

The sun sets,
And at last, the mother of the kitten
Fades away into the dusk.
