My light won’t shine

Tired of this feeling
And feeling this way
My joy, it is killing
Yet, I have to stay

It isn’t the norm
Of this, I am sure
My imperfect storm
No sun here to cure

Adrift on this boat
Lifeline and vessel
I don’t sink, but float
Internal wrestle

The sun is a myth
Fantastic being
A true biased gift
For those believing

In what , who knows
It’s not my design
My sail just won’t blow
And light won’t shine

Side note.. this is not about religion. I am a child of God. This is just my expression of the confusion I have, regarding depression.
