My Lifestyle Game

I continue to draw upon the artery's of my being
I test their exsistence each and every day
I never let them speak to me
I just pray I'll be O.K.

I never listen to my heart
and what it's telling me
I just go ahead at full speed
Even when it talks to me.

My mind will not communicate
With my other body parts
Today I am exhausted
But I have mastered this fine art.

I will face tomorrow
And hope that I will find
Inner peace within my soul,
With only one half of my mind.

To play the game of life this way
Isn't any fun....
I have played a game with the Devil,
Can you guess who finally won.
