Notes About The Poem

My Life Eternal

God, my Father, Healer of my soul Blessed redeemer The One who makes me whole Pour out your joy, your peace Your grace, hope and love Pour out your wonders On the inside where You are Living, providing my heart With a sense of serenity A promise of life’s blessings Assurance, salvation, direction Where they abide, inside, There, I know that You prepare me For the pain and despair, the darkness That tries to cover up my hope In clouds of doubt and disappointment But I know, dear Father… That I can be sure of Your blessings Scattering the clouds, the pressure The stress, anxiety and fear So that I only need to hear…. The winds, silent as the affection, That penetrates my soul Awakening the joy that grows Erasing pain and strife Reminding me that eternal life Will soon be mine!
