My Life

While voices surround me ringing out
Life like a tape recorder on fast-forward
I take a breath, try to see straight
I let it all go, roll off me
Like rain on a windshield without wipers
Voices start to fade
The pounding silences
Rain subsides
I can live again
My life

a young man in our church was diagnosed with schizophrenia I believe he was hearing voices.....and did some stupid things. I never know what to say to him....it seems to have messed up his future....
