My Life
I am alive only to stand alone
my many so called friends
have turned me into a stone
Many days will come and go
my heart has an aching beat
instead of smile, only my tears show.
My life is like a barren piece of land
they walk over me to the other side
I feel I do not have a leg to stand
My time has come to stand still
my feeling and emotions are no more
they have all been replaced by a pill
My soul is struggling to live while I die
Every beat and breath have become a burden
Now I wonder what is true and what is lie
I used to walk with my head held high
now I have fallen so hard on the ground
Everyday my fate has made me cry.
Even if the sun does rise and shine
My hearing loss has made me realize
That this life is no longer mine
