My lies get me into trouble. My lies take me places I shouldn’t be. My lies change my path. My lies ruin me. My truth saves me. My truth keeps me safe. My truth puts everything back in place. My truth mends my soul. Your lies change my feelings. Your lies give me doubt. Your lies point out the wrong way. Your lies make me loose myself. Your truth puts a beat in my heart. Your truth gives me hope. Your truth helps me find home. Your truth makes me learn to love again. Lies hurt more than just words alone. The truth hurts more when it is also a lie. Words that hurt are truth and lies. Lying is a sin. But the truth can be, too. - written 2/6/18
