MY LETTER TO HEAVEN

MY LETTER TO HEAVEN
Dear Shari, up in heaven's height,
I sent this letter, just to test the flight!
How fast does mail go, ethereal and grand?

(I'm hoping quicker than this mortal land.)
It doesn't get easier, no, not a bit,
This earthly chaos, I'm throwing a fit!
I bet you're spinning, a celestial spree,

"WTF?" you're saying, "What's wrong with thee?"
You're rolling in your grave, a ghostly shake,
Watching the madness, for goodness' sake!
If you were here, you'd join the mad parade,
Or maybe just laugh, at the mess we've made.

Happy Birthday, Shari, beyond the blue,
Tell God I'm waiting, it's overdue!
My blessing's delayed, a heavenly glitch,
He's probably scrolling, ignoring my pitch.
