My Last Will and Testament
Being of sound mind
and rational thought,
I bequeath
willfully and voluntarily,
To the stars my dreams
To the winds my wishes and whims
My foibles and follies
to the meandering streams,
To the clouds go my tears
My heartaches and pains
to the mountains to bear
and my ashes strewn over
the plains, dales and valleys.
Shove my poems in a chest
and toss overboard in to
the bosom of the sea…
perchance it washes ashore some day.
