My Last Thoughts - Victory In the Dawn

What will cross my thoughts as I finish my race
                  My husband, my children, each grandchild's face
                   With last breaths whispered to heaven above
                 That each my dear loved ones know Christ Jesus'
                                           sweet love
               That they pick up the torch of His love shining bright
              May it shine on their paths that lead through the night
               That they know my deep hope in my Savior is sweet
              Though my earthly life ends, He has made me complete
                  I will think of my loved ones I'll meet at the gate
                My parents, grandparents, family members will wait
                And usher me through with sweet hugs, joy and bliss
                    My baby awaits me, his precious life missed.....
                  I'll hug him, and hold him, and he will be kissed!!!
                     These are the thoughts that will usher me on
                  From this earthly threshold to my brand new dawn
                   I can hope that the last word whispered from me
                         My dad's last sweet promise, one word
                                              "Victory"
               These thought's that cross over my heart as I live
            Make me cherish the moments God's hand freely gives
             May the moments He's gifted be filled with the love
               That shines here on earth from the Father above
