My Last Love

I have so many different things
That I so wish that we could share
I can't tell you how much you are missed
Sometimes I turn over and almost feel you there

But I know it isn't and will never be true
Most of the time I am almost okay
Then there will be a little reminder
And I can almost hear you say

Honey, please don't cry anymore
You know we will meet again in time
I am waiting for you in forever
I promise, just know all will be fine

It is just that I came here first
But when we are again together
I promise all is well in eternity
Then love, I will be with you forever

So please dry those tears in your eyes
And remember the love we have to share
Know I am waiting for you in forever
Our souls will meet when you get there

We shall live in heavenly bliss
And our time will never end
Please know this my darling
Then the pain you feel will mend

Nice write for a departed love one. Good wording and rhyming.
