My Last Day On Earth

If my last day on Earth came with one wish
                      It would not be for food but it would be a dish

                     It wouldn’t be for forgiveness for all I have done
                     I would wish that this day be spent with just one

                             On my final day I would not be sad
                        Not with this wish, it just couldn’t end bad

                       I’d be happy and smiling for all twenty-four
                     This memory would last, an eternity and more

                            My last day’s wish, simply would be
                     I would wish for this one to spend it with me

              I’d show her my love and she would know it was true
                    My last day on Earth, would be spent with you
