My Last Day

My last day on earth the doctor said living without you i would rather be dead this feeling deep inside my heart for you could never be extinguished Your perfume i do smell your love lingures I will spend my day with you underneath the oaktree as teens we run to meet there our names are carved in the stock of the tree i love you and you love me i remember the first kiss we ever had underneath that old oak it was like i was reborn your soft lips caressing mine that is the way i want to die we made love underneath that oak i do not mean to brag or to boast your love is what i want the most my last day loving you until i give up the ghost
