My Language

I love the languages of all the world
Even the ones of which I know no word.
They serve to speak, to communicate
To create love and determine our fate.
I love my language musical and mild
I learned it when I was a child.
The Italian language is beautiful to me
Is apt to render anything I see.
I hear immigrants in Italian talking
All of the sudden my heart is moving.
Beautiful sounds are to me their words
Also when wrong, look harmonic chords.

Ciao, Mario: My folks were from Italy and I was the only one in my family that married a Colombian. Hearing people speak spanish create a spark in me but hearing Italian creates a cultural flame. I especially loved to hear your heart moving with the melodic sound sin your poem. Great write! and I love the languages of the world. "Ció che abbiamo bisogno di meno tribú e piu diversita" Que esté bien, señor, I will continue to read your poems.

Mario, ha, can i smile at this poem. I like many languages too... At my house i like to pretend I can talk Japanese. Of course I speak only English, and a little Spanish. I wish I could talk like the French, and Italian. that way I can translate your words without a translator guide. I can speak a little french. The ending, is how I make others feel when I try talking Spanish. lol... enjoyed~ Linda
