My Kingdom For 5 Minutes

Standing in the shower
Birthday suit bare
Its my singing booth
So sing without a care

The shower of song
As the water cascades
My middle aged voice
Can sometimes serenade

Depending on my thoughts
In the library of my mind
Whose the chosen artist
Let me think, and i will find

Thinking, thinking thinking
Ah, i know what i will sing
Its Amanda by Boston
This track, just amazing

The song is nearly ending
My shower almost done
I feel a million dollars
To the track that i just sang

The shower is my kingdom
For five minutes in my life
Its time to leave my kingdom
And continue with my life

dedicated to Miranda Agnes Quainoo's poem " any time i take a shower "

Love the title...love the idea of becoming someone different when you enter the shower...some people become awesome singers in the shower then once they leave it is back to reality..this is a good piece.
