My Jungle

My garden is a jungle
Plants of every kind
I feel like an explorer
I wonder what I’ll find.

I roll into the bushes
Climb up the steep rocks
There I play for hours
No need for time or clocks

Imagination, dreaming
No limits anywhere
I can take a journey
To any place I dare

I can be a monkey
Or a jungle girl
I can be a dancer
And do a little twirl

And as the years get older
My garden changes form
Though changing in the wind
It’s feeling always warm

And now my children play
In the garden where I could
My children now know the beauty
Liked I hoped they would
