My Journey To God

Now the journey to salvation, I have embarked
God I will trust, for he is truly a loved one
A little bit of light, to see me through the dark
While repenting my sin, before it's said and done

While the years go by, my life I will rectify
It is only me, that can turn my wrong to right
Through the evil, I will try to turn a blind eye
possibly then, I can rid some of this contrite

My journey continues, as I learn life's lessons
Mistakes I will make, praying none will bring me wraith
I'll Find other ways, to express my emotions
Even when times are tough, I will not lose my faith

I will pick myself up, every time I may fall
Win or lose, I'll never stop giving it my all
