I don’t have a friend to go to
One who feels just like I do
They might say they understand
But they can’t truly see within

Who knows my feelings

You know it all, sweet Jesus
My friend through every trial
The One who sends His angels
To war against satan’s demons
You are the One who never leaves
Nor forsakes me in my needs
You give me mercy and love beyond
What my heart and soul could want

I don’t know of anyone on earth
Who can love me through the worst
Take away my pain and grief
Send me the most tender relief
It’s only You

Who knows my hurt
