My Invisible Friend

My friend, I know only in words in my mind,
I'm much smarter than you think, you'll find,
his destination he has signed.

He doesn't know how much he needs me, even after all his hurtful lies,
He'll be better off, I won't punish him much,
It will be worth my magical touch.

He'll be happy and so will I,
I'll even put up with his lie after lie,
Just so I can end my day with a satisfied sigh......For a time......
dedicated to my invisible friend Jer

                                              Christine Vancooney
