My Inner Child

There’s a child in me

That child in me crying on the ground,
has been beaten and yelled at by
others and myself.

I pull her off the ground all my flowing tears washing away her pain.

“Dear child that is us in the past now love in is our lives stronger than ever.”

“You are so loved by me and that is all the matters

“Forget others we have to love each other. “

“You are not ugly you’re so beautiful.”

“Rise from the ashes and let’s be strong together.”

“We will be a mirror and reflect their ugliness back to them.”
