My Imitation of Life

I hunger for love
But I thirst for blood

Am I from below
Or up above

Perhaps a place not yet heard of

My eyes and my heart do not see the same
It's like my mind and soul are playing a twisted game

Satisfying my hunger can be achieved
But it always ends in watching them bleed

The beast inside cannot be tamed
My actions will remain unnamed

I stare in the mirror and all I see
Is everything, everything but me
