My Imaginary Friend
Absorb me like sugar my imaginary friend.
You'v got me wrapped around your finger.
Evaporate my skin.
So this time I will cry and never let it go.
I sing that song at night but you will never know.
Toss the lamp and rip the carpets
but I still know Im caught in your net.
I still hear you though the phone lines are dead.
You left your touch sown in my skin like thread.
So this time I will hide and pretend to let it go.
I hate that your inside and I cant let it show.
Burn the nightmares and scream on paper.
But I'll have a good dream sooner or later.
Filter out the sugar
goodbye imaginary friend.
I wont let my teardrops linger.
Shed away my skin.
