My Husband's String Beans

I tried to cook my husband’s string beans But they came out wrong. My kitchen skills are rather weak While his, of course, are strong. I used the pan he favors And the oil was sesame. I added almonds, just to Jazz it up by a degree. My friends are diplomatic, Maybe almost to a fault. They ate them with no comment On the fact they needed salt. Tonight my husband made some And they taste just like they ought So I realized my attempt was even Worse than I had thought!
