My Husband (My Best Friend)

MY Husband, my best friend 
your so far away 
but you're here 
in my heart every day 

MY Husband, my best friend 
I know how lucky I am 
to have a husband like you 
You're not just family 
but my best friend too 

I only wish that you 
were closer to me 
so we could get together 
and share a cup of tea 

But even though you're not here 
it's such a good feeling 
to know you're near 

All of the warmth you send 
shines through 
and there will always be 
a place in my heart for you
