What kind of  logical thinking would make someone want to advertise they live in an unprotected house?

My Home Now has a Red Light By Franklin Price 2/25/2018 My home now has a red light To say that it's gun free So criminals are not concerned When they come for mine and me I put a sign upon my front door It's unlocked, just come on in. In the fridge there is a snack for you To not eat would be a sin The jewelry's in the wall safe Lots of cash, for you, it's free It's behind our hallway mirror The combination's 123 The labels on the windows About a monitored alarm Are only signs to scare you Would never want to bring you harm If you believe these words I've written You must think I'm really dumb My neighbors all have weapons In the homes where I come from We're all installing red lights And putting labels on the glass Come in our unlocked front doors And we'll put lead in your dumb ass

Of all the antigun sentiments I've read lately, this took a different turn and I'm very appreciative to read both sides of an issue. I won't say how I lean, as I've been emotionally flogged for my beliefs, but lets just say...I understand you. Great write!

thanks for visiting and commenting. There are two sides of course. Do not advertise if you choose not to protect yourself. That's my point here. Keep yourself safe.
