My Home Is a Prison
I am secluded,
oh, I like my solitude but this is different;
this is mandated isolation due to Covid-19,
I can only go out for food and a walk.
Well, I could spend the time writing but inspiration is gone,
and even my desire to sketch and paint is taking a hit;
I am doing some on line Zumba classes,
I text more . . .
I have cleaned,
and watched TV and have done many word search puzzles;
doing doodle pictures with bright markers,
planted seedling that are threatening to take over.
I have been getting nightmares so do not watch the news much,
only at 6 pm- so I can a rundown of what is going on;
I have organized, moved furniture, dusted,
and I wait . . .
