My Heavenly Home
I have a home awaiting yonder,
it’s just inside the gates of pearl.
It is a home unsurpassed in beauty
by any place in this old world.
It is a mansion built by Jesus,
the river of life flows by the door.
Eye has not seen nor the heart imagined,
the things that God has for me in store.
This home of mine will last forever,
it is built on streets of gold.
The walls nearby are made of jasper
in that fair land, it’ll never grow old.
My mansion so fair was built by Jesus,
in my Father’s house in heaven above.
My heavenly home is a home eternal,
built in a land of endless love.
