My Hearts Shovel

A hole is forming in my heart And you were the start You dug the shovel in and took a chunk out You didn't even listen when i cried out The pain you've cause me Was another piece of my heart Which you leased for a while And then tore apart When you said goodbye The hole turned to a pit To which my sorrows could fit Then came the day when I had to stop I picked up my shovel And began to fill the pit WIth laughs and happy memories Anything that would fit And one day I realized My pit was a mound I'd filled it up and even added New ground I know my hearts shovel will be passed around And i know how to fill it With new soil and ground This is just the start to the Never ending cycle of filling My heart
