My Hearts Missing Component
Do you hear my heart knocking
You are the key; nothing else is blocking
Listen carefully, as it pounds
Changes rhythm when you're around
Speeds up at the mere thought of you
Slows down when you're body wraps mine like glue
It burns when you're in pain
Flutters when you call my name
Grows with each passing moment
Has life now; you are the missing component
