My Heart’s Desire
Upon the sea alone I sail
A lonely ship of dreams
You sailed away without me
Love eludes me it seems...
And I am very frail
If I could make time stand still
If I could make you mine
Then time would be my friend
Life would be divine
But here I stay
Stuck in the mire
And there you are
My aching heart’s desire
