This poem is about ones unspoken sorrow; regret and consequeances; hope of redemption; desperation and acceptance that one may come to face throughout their life.
My heart bleeds for you, a crimson tide,
For all the joys you've pushed aside.
The laughter lost, the sunlit days,
The gentle touch, the loving gaze.
You chase a path, a twisted way,
Ignoring whispers, light of day.
The seeds of sorrow, you have sown,
A harvest bitter, to be known.
One day regret will grip your soul,
A heavy weight, beyond control.
The chance to mend, the bridge to cross,
Will fade away, like morning frost.
A lonely soul, you'll wonder then,
Amongst the echoes, lost and spent.
The memories haunt, a constant sting,
Of what might have been, a mournful thing.
My heart bleeds on, a silent plea,
For you to turn, and finally see.
The path of kindness, bright and true,
Before the dawn breaks anew.
But time marches on, a relentless stream,
And sometimes, hope is just a dream.
